So it is my birthday.

I went to see TAI play at the Billboard in Melbourne.

It is not my favourite venue, but beggars can't be choosers.

Technically it was an Anberlin show but 80% of the crowd was there for TAI.

That much was obvious by how loud everyone sang along.

They were incredible, as usual.

Mike Carden was sick so Michael Guy Chislett picked up the slack big time.

Mad props Chizzy.

I nearly got killed by scary tall people in the pit.

The bruises were totally worth it.

TAI played Almost Here, After the Last Midtown Show, Big Mess, The Phrase That Pays, About A Girl, Summer Hair = Forever Young, Classifieds, Neighbours and Beware Cougar.

Here is eighteen seconds of bad cellphone video footage I recorded of Slow Down.

I decided that after TAI played I was going to leave because I'm not really an Anberlin fan and there was no cellphone reception in the bar.

I went outside and called my mum and told her to pick me up.

I went and bought some sugarfree Red Bull.

Crossed the road and looked down a side street and saw Sisky's beard.

I ran up to him and got photos and he signed my bag.

He gave me a birthday hug and we talked about his cats.

He was lovely and it totally made my birthday.

I swear to God, the two work so perfectly together it is unreal.

Okay so I am scared of spiders.

That's a normal thing to be scared of.

Some people think being scared of spiders is stupid.

IT'S NOT!

I GOT FREAKING BITTEN BY A MOTHERFUCKING SPIDER TODAY!!!

And as I live in Australia, I naturally freaked the fuck out thinking it was a redback and I was going to die.

I didn't obviously, but I have a nasty, itchy, painful rash.

And it is in a bitch of a place too.

I keep accidentally elbowing the bite and it honestly feels like the entire area is bruised.

I really, really hate spiders.

I know Australians that have lived here their whole lives and never been bitten before.

Shows my luck huh?

I went to the doctor and he gave me some hydrocortisone cream and some allergy pills incase I am allergic to the venom.

Thankfully since I noticed the bite, it won't spread any bigger.

Which I am taking as my silver lining, because as much of a bitch as this whole situation is, it still sure beats blood poisoning.

It's just gone 2 am but I am too terrified to sleep.

That spider is still in here somewhere...
